I have faith in NYC and its long-term prospects. It is a one-of-a-kind city that nearly everyone would like to visit and/or live in, and that appeal is not dying down anytime soon. The city’s status as a mecca for culture, finance, technology, entertainment, and fashion ensures its longevity, along with its amazing and diverse population of residents. 
 
As vaccination numbers increase and COVID-19 rates drop, more New Yorkers are heading back to work. In-person schooling is starting again as well, and restaurants are quickly reopening. The city’s return to normal, combined with current low interest rates and fair pricing, makes this an attractive time to buy. 
 
I already see savvy buyers rolling up their sleeves and diving into the market without hesitation. The surge in signed contracts and high domestic demand indicate that buyers’ confidence has returned. Just imagine what will happen when foreign buyers begin investing again! After all, NYC has always been a safe and secure city for investors, including those overseas. 
 
Furthermore, the rental market is blazing hot and rent prices have gone up sharply and quickly. Renters could eventually decide that it is not worth renting at such price levels and may choose to buy instead, allowing for even more opportunity and activity in the market. The future certainly looks bright.
